A research team, led by Distinguished Professor Rodney S. Ruoff from IBS CMCM research center at UNIST succeeded in folding an A5-sized, 400nm polycarbonate film in half 12 times. Above is the 11 folds graphene composite film sample, thereby achieving 2,048 layers. This sample can be folded one more time, thus achieving 4096 layers of graphene present in the final composite structure. |
