UNIST, Recognized for the 2019 National R&D Excellence!

 

The year 2019 is a meaningful year to UNIST, as it marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of UNIST. Consequently, UNIST has accomplished as much this past year.

 

Late last year, UNIST was recognized at the 2019 National R&D Performance Evaluation Ceremony, held by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

 

At the ceremony, which took place in Government Sejong Convention Center (SCC), UNIST was given the Prime Minister’s commendation for its contribution to the national development through science and technology.

 

In addition to this, two individuals from UNIST received the commendations from the Minister of Science and ICT.

 

As for the field of Institutional Evaluation, Research Professor Kyung A Son (UNIST Innovation Center) received a meritorious medal in recognition of her exemplary service. Besides, as for the area of Research Facility ‧ Equipment Management & Utilization, Team Leader Young Ki Kim (Research Support Team, UNIST) was given the honor.
