The 2015 UNIST Matriculation Ceremony was held on February 25 at the UNIST Gymnasium for newly admitted students of undergraduate faculties. A total of 711 new undergraduate students were admitted in the presence of their family and professors who held witness to this important milestone.
As UNIST aspires to be a truly global university, the 2015 Matriculation Ceremony was preceded in both English and Korean. The Oath of Freshmen was also delivered by student representatives, JaeSung Kim and DaeHwa Kim on behalf of newly admitted UNIST students.
The ceremony was followed by the presentation of scholarship certificates to the students with outstanding entrance scores. This “Uni-Star Scholarship” was given to three students, JaeSung Kim, DaeHwa Kim, and JiUng Lee who aspire to be global leaders.
The presentation of scholarship certificates was followed by a reception offered by the UNIST Admissions team.
