On February 16, UNIST signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pusan National University (PNU) to pledge mutual support for one another in the pursuit of excellence in education.
In the memorandum of understanding, the two organizations promised to foster student exchanges, joint research activities, as well as exchanges of academic materials.
Through this partnership, students will have more course and program choices than ever before, as they allow credit exchange. It will be available starting this summer season of 2017, and are only allowed for seasonal semesters.
The ceremony was attended by President Ho-hwan Chun of PNU, Director Nam Deuk Kim of Academic Affairs, President Mooyoung Jung of UNIST, Director Taesung Kim of Academic Affairs, and other key officials from both organizations.
UNIST also has active partnership agreements with universities throughout the naion, including KAIST, GIST, DGIST, POSTECH, SNU, Korea University, Yonsei University, Kyungpook University, and Handong University.
