The School of Business Administration at UNIST has announced that one of its graduates has recently been appointed as an assistant professor at Yonsei University. SangHak Choi (Advisor: Professors Jun-Youp Lee, DaeJin Kim) is an alumnus who has recently been appointed to a faculty position.
Dr. SangHak Choi earned his doctorate degree in February 2022 under the guidance of Professor Junyoup Lee and Professor DaeJin Kim who have now been moved to Ajou University and Sungkyunkwan University, respectively. During his school years at UNIST, he has carried out various empirical research projects on corporate finance.
After a Ph.D., he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Business Administration at Kyungpook National University. There, he has conducted various research projects on information asymmetry and corporate governance mechanisms between the two parties, namely managers and shareholders, climate-related risks, product market competition, as well as energy and finance markets. Dr. Choi is about to begin his new career as an assistant professor within the School of Business Administration at Yonsei University, beginning March 2023.
