UNIST AI Innovation Park organized an AI technology exchange conference, aimed at enhancing the industrial competitiveness of the Ulsan region. The event, held at the Industry-University Convergence Campus of UNIST on July 15, brought together representatives from the ‘Next Generation Enterpriser Club Ulsan,’ a meeting of successors for local small and medium-sized businesses.
The conference provided a platform for attendees to explore the latest AI technology trends and gain insights into industrial innovation cases. In-depth discussions were also held on strategies and plans for integrating AI technology into business operations, emphasizing its significance in driving local industry development.
The event marked a milestone moment for UNIST, as it publicly showcased its AI-related achievements for the first time. Building on this success, AI Innovation Park will continue to support the translation of research findings into practical applications through various industry-academic collaboration initiatives.
“We hope this meeting will serve as an opportunity to promote industrial technology innovation in Ulsan,” said President Chong Rae Park of UNIST. “We are committed to strengthening the capabilities of local industry employees through educational programs, such as AI Novatus Academy, and fostering industry-academic cooperation and technology startups to contribute to the development of local industries.”
