The UNIST Leadership Center has expanded its STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education outreach from Ulsan to Busan and the broader Gyeongsang region, reinforcing its role in regional youth education. UNIST has also been recognized as a certified institution for community contribution in acknowledgment of its sustained efforts.
The center has provided hands-on STEM programs for local students through initiatives, such as One-Day STEM Camps, Science Mentorship, the Hi-Leader Camp, and the Dream Science Camp. As participation increased, UNIST partnered this year with the Support Center for Education Donation Center at Pukyong National University to extend the program’s reach.
