UNIST celebrated the entrance of the class of 2019 and new transfers before the first class commences at UNIST on Monday, March 2.
The Orientation Program by UNIST was attended by 122 returning students, as well as 713 newly admitted students of Undergraduate and Graduate programs for the Spring Semester 2015. This was held from Tuesday, February 24, through Friday, February 27, 2015 in the UNIST Gymnasiym.
The third Annual New Student Orientation is designed to introduce all new students and transfer students the wide array of acedemic, intellectual, leadership, cultural and social experiences available at UNIST. This is a four-day event, featuring welcome activities, community building exercises, and presentations on student success and campus safety. It also included information sessions, academic advising, and social activities to help the incoming students adjust to life on campus. During these four days, students also had opportunities to meet staff, administrators, and faculty, as well as to form relationships with their classmates, dormmates, and other members of the UNIST community.
