Established in 2009, UNIST has gained recognition and established a foothold as a unique educational and research organization. In recent years, UNIST has captured the attention of scientists worldwide with its potential to become one of the world’s top 10 science and technology universities by 2030.
UNIST has been actively promoting international collaboration as a driving force for excellence and aims to promote scientific collaboration with other countries through the exchange of researchers. Not only that, the recent approval of the law for the status change of UNIST by the National Assembly on Tuesday, March 3 has even brought UNIST to range with three other Korea’s S&T Research Institutes, KAIST, GIST, and DGIST.
