The Andor Academy Symposium on topics of “Fast, low-light imaging and microscopy” will be held at UNIST from August 18th to 20th, 2015. This is a training and education event, hosted by Andor Technology Ltd. and Bitplane, Oxford Instruments companies and world leaders in scientific solutions and visualization software.
This year’s Symposium will feature cutting-edge scientific talks, interesting presentations, as well as hands-on training sessions. The symposium will cover a wide selection of topics, related to imaging, spectroscopy, microscopy, advanced illumination and image analysis technologies.
This scientific event kicks off at 1st UNIST Engineering Building on August 18th, featuring 5 keynote presentations on topics of “Bioimaging Fundamentals & Applications” by leading scholars, including Prof. Bo Huang (University of California, San Francisco), Prof. YoungKeun (Paul) Park (KAIST), Dr. Kok Hao Chen (Genome Institute of Singapore), Prof. Tae-Young Yoon (KAIST), and Prof. Sang-Hee Shim (UNIST).
On August 19th, group assignments will be introduced, along with demos and hands-on technical lab sessions on Microscopy Systems. The Symposium will conclude on August 20th at 2nd UNIST Engineering Building where current thoughts on 3D and 4D Data Analysis and Data Visualization will be exchanged.
