UNIST will be implementing an educational program to help Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grow. This three-day education program, organized by the UNIST Academy-Industry Research Cooperation (AIRC) includes CATIA program management.
The Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application (CATIA) is a multi-platform computer-aided design (CAD) commercial software suite developed by the French company Dassault Systèmes directed by Bernard Charles.
President Sungchul Bae of AIRC states, “UNIST is working hard to help the regional SMEs with a shortage of professional technicians.” He continues, “Through this program, we hope to increase professionalism in productions.”
The CATIA training program is organized in conjunction with the Korea Industrial Complex Corp. (KICOX) in Ulsan. For more detailed information regarding this program, please contact Industry Engagement Team (052-217-1583, kate97727@unist.ac.kr).
