On June 03, UNIST and Ulsan University have embarked on an innovative partnership to pledge mutual support for one another in the pursuit of student development and research excellence.
President Yeon-Chun Oh at the University of Ulsan has met with UNIST President Moo Je Cho and executive members of UNIST, including Jae Sung Lee, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Moo Young Jung, Vice President of Research to promote quality science and scientific interchange and to develop a stronger link between two parties.
“In its short history, UNIST has achieved a strong reputation worldwide,” says President Oh after taking a guided tour of the UNIST Central Research Facilities (UCRF). He then adds, “We look forward to a long history of a strong, yet cooperative academic partnership with UNIST.” This meeting provides a framework for fostering collaboration in scientific and technical research, as well as to promote the exchange of students, scientists, and of technological and other experts.
President Moo Je Cho states, “This agreement allows UNIST to build on our existing relationship with Ulsan University.” He continues by saying, “We look forward to working with the University of Ulsan to introduce innovative scientific research to their students, as well as to nurture more young scientific talents.”
