UNIST held an opening ceremony of 2015 for the New Year on January 2, 2015. All faculty members and executive members of UNIST, including Jae Sung Lee, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Moo Young Jung, the Vice President of Research attended this event to greet the year of the Sheep.
Jae Sung Lee, the Vice President of Academic Affairs delivered the New Year’s message on behalf of President Moo Je Cho and shared words of blessings with all faculty members and staff holding their hands.
President Cho states “In 2015, I deeply hope that we can become a world-renowned research institute in advanced science and technology. To do so, we need everyone to exhibit the wisdom of Solomon. Let us create a year that promises a more hopeful and brighter tomorrow than today.”
During the event, the Vice President of Academic Affiars granted commendation to the 7 excellent employees praising their hard work on behalf of President Cho. Employees who received this award are Soo Youn Son (Research Supporting Team), Su Mi Cha (Technology Commercialization Center), Chang Ju Oh (Division of General Studies), Ji Na Kim (Admission Team), Young Mi Kim (Education Center for Gifted Students), Mi Yeon Gwon (Academic Affairs Team), and So Hee Uhm (Administration Center 1).
