The UNIST Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management is recruiting new participants for the 2021 Smart Maritime Logistics & Services Startup Audition. The application period ends on Friday, May 7, 2021. Any undergraduate/graduate student or graduates having graduated within one to five previous years, particularly those who dream of starting a business in the maritime sector may participate as an individual or a team.
Organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF), the Smart Maritime Logistics & Services Startup Audition is being jointly hosted by the UNIST Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management and the Ulsan Port Authority (UPA). It has been designed to create new jobs and foster smart logistics talents in the logistics industry.
The audition consists of preliminaries and finals. The selected teams for the preliminary stage will receive 12 million won in start-up support. In addition, assistance will be provided in finding office space within the Industry-University Convergence Campus and Ulsan Port Authority (UPA). The preliminary stage of the 2021 Smart Maritime Logistics & Services Startup Audition will be held from Monday, May 17 to Friday, August 13, 2021. Those entering the final round will be given additional funding of 20 million won for start-up support. The finals will run through September and October 2021.
The online briefing sessions for the 2021 Smart Maritime Logistics & Services Startup Audition will be conducted on Thursday, April 29, 2021, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Registration for the online briefing can be done via the following link: (https://forms.gle/6ThL7HVFHfE9mFZNA). Applicants are required to complete all the forms in the online application.
