On May 24th, 2016, the local auditors in public institutions have gathered at UNIST to discuss ways to improve integrity in the workplace.
Organized by Auditor Sung Euk Lee of UNIST, the meeting for Ulsan Region Public Institutions Audit Council was attended by auditors from key public sector institutions in Ulsan region.
Participants include Auditor Sung Euk Lee of UNIST, Auditor Youn-sung Byun of Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC), Auditor Jung-ha Ryu of Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service, Executive Auditor O Yeong Kim of Korea East West Power Co., Ltd. (EWP), Auditor Byeong-ok Kim of Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency (KOSHA), and Auditor Sung Sik Choi of Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea).
At the meeting, they discussed measures to enhance public sector integrity and seeked for the direction and plan of the future activities of social contribution.
Auditor Sung Euk Lee of UNIST states, “This meeting plays an important role in ensuring more effective and efficient audit activities based on a clearer understanding of respective audit roles.” He adds, “We hope that through this meeting, public sectors in Ulsan can work together to foster a culture of integrity.”
