Spirits are high among college students that challenge to solve social problems using data science, as the first UNIST-KAIST-POSTECH Data Science Competition is being held until December 31, 2021.
As of November 3, a total of 31 teams have participated in the competition. This includes 10 teams from UNIST, 3 teams from POSTECH, 12 teams from KAIST, and 6 united teams. The registration will remain open until Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Currently, individual participants are waiting for the formation of a team, and more than two more teams are expected to participate through additional applications. Applications for participation can be made through the competition website. Kakao Enterprise, a sponsor of the competition, will provide Kakao Friends’ 2022 diary to all participating teams.
“This competition in good faith will be an opportunity to grow into a data scientist,” noted Professor Yongjae Lee in the Department of Industrial Engineering at UNIST. “I would like to take this opportunity to wish them a great success.”
