Without a doubt, Hyang Rim Lee, a fourth-year Business Administration student, has a heart of gold. Having a deep desire to explore her love of teaching, Hyang Rim formed a volunteer organization, called Mr. Choukriya with her boyfriend, Sang Deok Lee (School of Design and Human Engineering).
“In order to live a meaningful life, one must help others and I aspire to help youth meet their educational needs,” says Hyang Rim.
Mr. Choukriya is a non-profit organization that is specifically designed to provide educational support for the children of developing countries where proper schooling infrastructure and educators are highly needed.

Currently, with the help of OLPC (One Laptop per Child), this team has contributed 270 Mathematics video lectures for the elementary students of the Philippines and Mongolia. The mission of this organization is to offer more and more online video lectures in both Mathematics and Science to the underprivieged children by December 2014.
“As a full-time student, producing online video lectures at my own expense has not been easy, but my heart is filled with pride, knowing that my little help will provide education to the underprivileged children,” says Hyang Rim.
