The UNIST Innovative Education Center held the 2022 UIRP & AICP Festival in the lobby of 108-dong on the 2nd (Friday). The event is a poster session event that showcases the research results of undergraduate convergence research projects (UIRP) and artificial intelligence challenger programs (AICP) teams this year, with a total of 50 teams participating to show off their achievements.
This year’s UIRP increased research diversity with a total of 25 research topics involving guidance faculty from 11 departments. Most of the participating undergraduates responded to visitors from various majors with an easy-to-understand explanation even though it was their first poster session.
AICP also presented a total of 25 research results in the same way. It focused visitors’ attention on creative research topics and high-quality results that applied AI to various fields.
About 500 members of the school visited the event and filled the venue. Visitors enjoyed the event by freely interacting with the student research team and participating in events such as popular voting and review events.
The center will hold an award ceremony for UIRP and AICP excellent teams selected at the festival in December, and plans to recruit UIRP and AICP participants in 2023 from February.
