UMRC Signs Cooperation MoU with Hankook Research Co.,Ltd.

UNIST Multi-Hazards Research Center (UMRC) has recently embarked on a new partnership with Hankook Research Co.,Ltd. in an effort to strengthen the linkage and cooperation, such as the sharing and collaboration of research data in various disaster and safety management fields (i.e., COVID-19).

A ceremony to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations also took place at UNIST on November 24, 2022. The ceremony has been attended by Director Jibum Chung of UMRC, Executive Director Chun-seok Kim of Hankook Research Co.,Ltd., and key officials from both organizations.

Through this partnership, the two organizations have agreed to strengthen the linkage and cooperation in the following areas: △ Sharing of disaster and safety information, △Planning and conducting surveys on various safety issues in Korean society, △ Research and agenda discovery for political countermeasures, and △ Dissemination of research results.
