The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at UNIST has announced that one of its graduates has recently been appointed as an assistant professor at Konkuk University. WookHee Kim (Advisor: Professor Sam H. Noh) is an alumnus who has recently been appointed to a faculty position.
Dr. WookHee Kim entered UNIST in 2009 and obtained his Ph.D. in February 2019. His research areas of interest include system software for next-generation information storage devices, such as non-volatile memory (NVM). He has carried out a number of excellent research results under the guidance of Dean and Professor Sam H. Noh from the UNIST Artificial Intelligence Graduate School and Professor Beomseok Nam, who has now moved to SungKyunKwan University.
Dr. Kim is about to begin his new career as an assistant professor within the Department of Software at Konkuk University, beginning March 2022. There, he will focus on developing computer systems that can effectively support the development of new hardware and applications.
