The School of Business Administration at UNIST has announced that one of its graduates has recently been appointed as an assistant professor at Dong-A University. Hanbyul Choi (Advisor: Professor Young Rok Choi) is an alumnus who has recently been appointed to a faculty position.
Dr. Hanbyul Choi earned his doctorate degree in February 2021 under the guidance of Professor Young Rok Choi in the School of Business Administration at UNIST. During his school years at UNIST, he has carried out various research projects on the social impacts of information and communication technologies, as well as user reactions and technology usage behaviors.
After a Ph.D., he worked as a research professor within the Center for Information and Communication Technologies and Society (CIS) at Korea University. There, he has conducted various research projects on advanced technologies in data and information security, as well as the processing of users personal data. Dr. Choi is about to begin his new career as an assistant professor within the Department of Management Information System at Dong-A University, beginning March 2023.
