The UNIST Graduate School of Semiconductor Materials and Devices Engineering, which will open its doors in September 2021, is recruiting new students for the Fall semester of 2021.
The application period begins on Tuesday, March 30, and ends on Friday, April 15, 2021. Once the complete application package is received, the final successful candidates will be selected by evaluation of their documents and interviews. Programs being offered include Master’s, combined Master’s/PhD, and Ph.D. programs. All newly-admitted students will be given tuition assistance either via government scholarship programs or industry-linked stipend scholarships.
The UNIST Graduate School of Semiconductor Materials and Devices Engineering is part of the project that has been carried out to foster key personnel in the areas of semiconductor materials, components, and devices that have been emerged as South Korea’s national key R&D programs. The school will use UNIST’s semiconductor research facilities to provide education focusing on advanced semiconductor materials, processes, and analysis. In addition, students will be given opportunities to undertake joint research projects, and further their research activities overseas.
The online briefing sessions for the Fall semester 2021 will be conducted twice one on Thursday, March 18 and the other on Friday, March 26, 2021, both at 5PM.
