On January 7, UNIST celebrated the start of new academic term for its AI Novatus Academia certification program.
On this day, an opening ceremony also held for new students to congratulate their new learning journey. The ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Industry-University Convergence Campus of UNIST. These students for the third academic term are comprised of 34 industry experts in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Areas.

Organized by UNIST AI Innovation Park, the AI Novatus Academia is an intensive program, specifically designed for industrial engineers who are interested in pursuing a certificate program. Started in February 2020, the program has produced 59 graduates who are affiliated with 51 companies. They also had the opportunity to practice the real-life projects, utilizing on-site data and artificial intelligence models.
