The opening of UNIST Clinic · Pharmacy will be an important step towards creating a safe and secure environment where students feel comfortable learning, creating, and growing!

UNIST Clinic officially opened its doors on Tuesday, May 24, 2022!

Located on the first floor of the UNIST Sports Center, the clinic offers a full range of medical and pharmacy services. It will open weekdays between 9 am and 6 pm, except for Thursdays. The clinic also offers “drop-in” sessions, where you can turn up without an appointment.

In accordance with Article 35 of the Korean Medical Law (Special Approval for the Establishment of Medical Institutions), the UNIST Clinic serves students, faculty and their family members to enhance their physical, mental and social health.

The clinic offers medical services in three departments. Since the establishment of the affiliated hospital of UNIST in 2016, it has been providing neuropsychiatric services. It now offers a wide range of services in family medicine. With the support of Dongnam Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences (DIRAMS), it also plans to offer selected otolaryngology services.

Students, including the President of the UNIST Student Council and the President of the UNIST Graduate Student Association, also participated in the opening ceremony to welcome the changed appearance of the campus.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony of UNIST Clinic has been attended by Chief Medical Officer Sang Il Park (DIRAMS), Director Young Jun Seo (DIRAMS), Director Dooyoung Jung (UNIST Health Care Center), Family Medicine Specialist Mi Kyung Kim, Pharmacist Jae Hong Kim, and key related officials.
