A warm breeze of open communication swept across the UNIST campus through May 29 and 30, 2025.
UNIST General Affairs Team organized two events: “Sippin’ Sunny – A Refreshing Sip Under the Sun” and the “2025 Bridge Talk Concert.” These initiatives were designed to cultivate a healthy, inclusive campus environment and to promote horizontal communication among members.
The “Sippin’ Sunny” took place on the lawn in front of the Engineering Buildings, providing participants with a relaxing space to enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Thanks to the thoughtful provision of unlimited popcorn and other treats, the lawn transformed into a convivial gathering spot, encouraging social interaction.
Participants spent refreshing moments amidst the greenery near the Gamak Pond. One student remarked, “Enjoying beverages without any pressure and the relaxed lunchtime atmosphere left a lasting impression.”
On the afternoon of May 29, the “2025 UNIST Bridge Talk Concert” was held at HaeDong Hall in the Engineering Building. Vice President Sung Chul Bae of Academic Affairs, along with staff members, gathered to discuss various topics including personnel systems, working environments, and organizational culture.
One employee shared, “Having direct conversations with leaders fostered trust and provided an opportunity for mutual understanding and empathy.”
The Administration Team stated, “We will continue to create opportunities to strengthen connections among members and establish a participatory communication culture unique to UNIST.”
