UNIST has embarked on a new partnership with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRDK) to nurture and support scientific talents in the field of data science.
On January 18, UNIST signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the HRDK to train and educate core personnel who will lead digital transformation, promoted by the HRDK, and to strengthen regional development cooperation.
Under this partnership, the HRDK will help its employees to develop master-level skills in data science. In turn, the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management will help foster data science experts and big data analysts during periods of three years in order to secure future driving forces of digital transformation. The HRDK will also promote the opening of short-term curriculums for basic data science education, both online and offline.
