On November 4, UNIST signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gyeongsang National University to forge ahead toward achieving educational excellence.
In the memorandum of understanding, the two organizations promised to form a strategic partnership for the purpose of expanding academic and research exchanges amongst major universities in the Southeast region.
This agreement has been made in an effort to seek mutual growth based on the excellent human resources and academic information of the two cooperating organizations. To this end, the two organizations have pledged to cooperate in academic programs, develop mutual research activities, and facilitate student and staff exchanges, along with academic, research, and training exchange.
Took place in the 6F main conference room, located in the Main Administration Building at UNIST, the ceremony has been attended by President Yonghoon Lee, Dean Jin Young Kim of Research Affairs, Dean Myeong-In Lee of Public Relations and International Affairs, Dean Saera Yoon of Student Affairs, Dean Youngdo Choi of General Administration, and Director Tae Joo Shin of UCRF from UNIST. Also Present at the signing ceremony were President Soon-Ki Kwon, Vice President Woo-Geon Jeong, and Dean Mi-Jeong Ahn of Student Affairs), and other key officials from Gyongsang National University.
