NaKyung Yoon (Department of Urban and Environmental Engineering, UNIST) has been honored with the 2021 Talent Award of Korea.
The Talent Award of Korea is an award bestowed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Korea since 2014. It recognizes those individuals who have performed exemplary talents or outstanding meritorious service. Every year, the award goes to 100 university and high school students who became distinguished in certain fields through effort, challenging spirits, and creativity.
This award has been given to NaKyung Yoon (Advisor: Professor Kyung Hwa Cho) in recognition of her efforts and contributions in tackling issues, such as clean water scarcity due to climate change. In particular, her efforts to ensure access to safe drinking water were highly regarded.
