UNIST has graduated 40 executives from the inaugural Ulsan AI Executive Program, a practice-oriented course designed to support AI-driven transformation (AX) in the regional manufacturing sector. The completion ceremony was held at the UNIST Pioneers Campus on December 3, 2025.
Operated by the Novatus Graduate School, the program focused on AI adoption strategies, big data analytics, and process optimization tailored to real manufacturing needs. Unlike traditional executive programs, the curriculum emphasized applied learning, drawing on UNIST research and industry case studies.
Participants developed practical AI roadmaps aligned with their company operations, strengthening their capacity to lead digital transformation on the factory floor.
UNIST plans to expand alumni networking and industry–academia collaboration to support follow-up projects and foster a broader AI-driven innovation ecosystem across Ulsan’s manufacturing sector.
