On May 27, the UNIST Center for Smart Mobility held a conference on future automotive technology. Took place in Ulsan Lotte Hotel, the primary purpose of this conference was to share the latest trends in future mobility industry and to explore ways to accelerate commercialization of future mobility-related technologies.
The conference brought together distinguished experts and professionals from the automotive industry to discuss the latest trends in the future mobility industry. It was held in the order of business agreements between UNIST Future Car Research Institute and KMCA, technical presentation sessions on future cars to advance into the future car sector and overcome the crisis in the automobile sector, and technical consultations sessions organized by UNIST Future Car Research Institute.
During the course of the event, the UNIST Center for Smart Mobility has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Mobility Cluster Association (KMCA). Both organizations promised to cooperate in upgrading the Ulsan automobile industry, creating new convergence industries, promoting technology commercialization, and finding joint R&D tasks. The two organizations will carry out various cooperative projects for the smooth operation of the council of the heads of the participating companies of the UNIST Center for Smart Mobility, which was launched in November 2020.
