Ulsan GPS Corporation, a subsidiary of SK Gas Co., Ltd. (SK Gas), has decided to donate KRW 5 billion in Net-Zero research support fund to realize carbon neutrality and green growth. UNIST held a donation ceremony to commemorate and display gratitude for Ulsan GPS Corp. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
“Ulsan GPS Corp. plans to become a decarbonized power generator by preemptively promoting hydrogen mixing in the future,” said President Seungho Ch of SK Ulsan GPS Corp. “We look forward to mutual cooperation and synergy through this research fund in the era of carbon neutrality.”
Ulsan GPS Corp. plans to build the world’s first 1227MW LNG/LPG power plant in Nam-gu, Ulsan Metropolitan City to operate commercial operations in the second half of 2014, and is a leading company with a vision of Net Zero Utility Solution Provider that provides optimal Net-Zero utilities to customers in the future.
“We sincerely thank Ulsan GPS for deciding on this donation, and with the Net-Zero research support fund created by Ulsan GPS, the two organizations will cooperate for carbon neutral and green growth through carbon-neutral research and technology exchange,” said President Lee. “We will continue to work harder to serve as a representative research base for Ulsan City and the industry.”
