During the course of the event, the general group made up of faculty and staff members of UNIST, has also earned ten medals — 5 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze at both the indoor and outdoor rowing races.

“I am extremely proud of the whole team,” says Yangsang Han (UNIST Leadership Center), who joined the team’s coaching staff in May of this year. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t win all the rowing events in this year’s tournament, but UNIST Rowing Club has a very strong squad and excellent training facilities, rivaling the Oxford University Boat Club in its potential for growth.”
